This is the software for talking to a Sharp TelMail TM-20 over a serial port. PocketMail is no more, Sharp no longer hosts this file, and most of the archived pages in the wayback machine don't have the zip archived, so I grabbed and unpacked the version from this page: https://web.archive.org/web/20010626223634/http://www.pocketmail.com:80/?a=tm20&t=Downloads

From YUMB.DOC:   YUMB was created to allow more creative ,challenging skillful game. Yumb is dice greed game, we guaranty that Yumb will challenge your mind and sharpen your skills. This game was featured in episode #118 of Kris Asick's Shovelware Diggers , but wasn't functional because the copy on the disc contained a time-bomb based on the KEY.ID file, requiring you to dial up to a (long dead) BBS to get a new shareware trial copy that'd still work. So I hacked out the date check and made...

This is "Syntech Midi software", according to the box, "Syntech's 48 Track PC Rev 1.0" according to the disks, or "48 Track Midi Recorder" according to the software itself. This is version 1.0A, copyright 1985,1986 Robert Keller, and distributed by Robert Keller. It seems to be a program for recording MIDI events, and so requires some kind of MIDI interface to be at all useful.  Note: There's two disks, but they're identical except for one set having...

A set of demo/implementation/evaluation disks for the Cirrus Logic GD5320 (v3.08) graphics chip, from 1991.  I discovered these in a junk pile at HSC Electronic Supply in Santa Clara, CA, so I bought and imaged them in case they're useful to anyone. The demo disk says it was produced by Adware Inc in Los Gatos (in 06-20-90). Los Gatos isn't far away from where I found them, so it's possible these came right from there.

This is a bunch of Cosmi's budget software for windows 3.1. I bought this as a copy of "Form Maker & Filer" and then discovered that Cosmi used an interesting method of distributing their software: The CD contains all their installers, but copy-protected by making you enter a password out of the manual to decrypt them.  So I reverse-engineered the password obfuscation (included as decode.py, or use a newer version from github ) and now you can install all the programs. Here's the...

The Motorola MDT-9100 was a mobile data terminal developed in the 80s and continued into the 90s. It's a 386, CRT, and radio system. It's got 4mb of flash on the motherboard that's copied onto a ramdisk at boot-up, to prevent you from accidentally modifying it and to speed up access. This is the contents of that flash on the unit I own, I have no idea if it was modified prior to coming into my possession. I was able to copy this by transferring over a bootstrap communication program and using...
